Well, yesterday it hit 32°C — not exactly mulled wine and fairy lights weather, but there's no such thing as the perfect time and you've got to start sometime!

Day 1 was all about a Quick Win. The kind of task that takes no more than 20 minutes, fits into a busy day, and gives you that satisfying “I did something” feeling. Not just washing up or preparing meals — but a small, intentional action that nudges you forward.

So what did I do?

🧦 I tackled the sock drawer.
Yes. Really.

There were 17 socks that were threadbare and had clearly done their time (a side effect of walking the dog 3 times a day). Now bagged up to taken to clothes recycling at some point.

A stray bra wire. No clue how it got there. 

And somehow, a little more mental space.

It took less than 20 minutes, yet it gave me that boost that comes with doing something just for you and your own clarity.
